Bought another Saab 2 months ago.... 2006 9-7X Arc 5.3 V8 - Murica!
Yeah - bought another one.... have 6 Saab's currently again.
2006 9-7X Arc 5.3 Vortec V8 (bought with just under 93K)

Came with aftermarket 20" wheels - sold those and fitted a nice set of OEM Linear 18" wheels which look like Saab wheels IMHO and the nicest aside from the Aero 20" 5 spokes.
I also fitted a Volant Cold Air Intake - it sounds nice.

Welcome back stranger...! Good call on the wheels, those aftermarket are pretty ugly. With the prices they sell for, it seems like you're getting a lot of vehicle for the money. I wouldn't mind having one of those as a winter vehicle. Hows the gas mileage with the V8?

Took it on vacation last week - went to NYC and then back across PA along I80 to Potter County. The first leg of the trip was more stop and go NJ and NY traffic - averaged 16.6MPG The later leg which also included some heavier traffic out of NJ and along I80 @ times and back home average 19.5MPG I came home last Sunday with about a 1/2 tank+ and I still have 1/4 tank left after driving it to work 3 days. It does surprisingly well for a full time AWD vehicle if driven in the right environment. If you use the car's total gallons used verses it's current mileage the car has only averaged 13.7MPG its entire life... that will clearly creep up as I own it now lol.

Looking good Burnsie!
How does it feel to belong to the group of Saab owners that owns a "not real" Saab? ;-)
BTW, I take delivery of my second 9-7X in 3.5 hours!President, The Saab Club of Canada

I really like it - but it's clearly not a "every day vehicle." It's nice to driving something that has turbo lag and fuel economy in between.
