Just bought a key and fob and tried the above method...it worked like a champ. Thank you, Sir!

Question, I have a new key fob but no cut key for it. Can I still program the new fob. I do have a blank key but need it cut.

I have a 2008 9-3, I only had one key and my son lost it. Does anyone know what my options are?

How did you end up? I have the same problem now. I will unlock five times and nothing will happen at all. Thanks.

This method doesn't say anything about one crucial thing - is it possible to program an already used key from another car or it works ONLY on new keys that have not been previously programmed to any car.
