Misfire on Cyl #1
Hello,
I have a 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T with 146K miles. I am getting a flashing engine light at highway speeds and the car will shudder when attempting to accelerate, only when the engine light is flashing. This will usually happen after the engine warms up. The trouble code is "Misfire Cylinder #1". I replaced the spark plugs and used premium gas, and it helped the condition but did not eliminate it. I am thinking of replacing the coil for cyl #1. Cam someone tell me which cylinder is # 1 ??

If you can change each coil separately, you could swap number one to a different cylinder, and see if the fault follows the coil.
Hope its of some help.
