SOC 2016 is announced!

The Saab Club of North America is pleased to announce that the location of the 2016 Saab Owner’s Convention will be in the land of peaches and hospitality, Georgia! SCNA has contracted the Marriott Evergreen Resort in Stone Mountain, Georgia to be the host venue for our annual convention, which will be held August 4-7th, 2016. More details will be posted as they come available, including links for our special negotiated rate at the hotel.

People show their cars and win awards. People take pictures. People sell stuff. People talk to eachother. Basic stuff really.

I have been to a few and usually enjoy the seminars. Sometimes they have special guests like Peter Backstrom from the Saab Museum.

There used to be a parts sale by Saab USA and you sometimes can find some nice deals. Not sure if Orio will participate but I assume they'll be one of the vendors.

Anyone going this weekend? Peter Backstrom is going to be there so should be some interesting seminars and talks.

It looks like weather is going to be in the 90s F (32+ C) with a small chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sounds like a typical southern summer.
