2011 9-3 1,9 TTID Stereo unit replacement

Hi!

First post this... My first SAAB was a 9-3 2007 SC 1,9TID. Was very happy with it!
Just a week ago I bought a 2011 9-3 SC 1,9TTID, and it is this that car I have questions about.

The car I just recently bought has an error reading navigation DVD´s, which I understand is a fairly common issue.
Here in Norway the FM network is being shut down, and so I decided the best way forward is to replace the head unit with a new one that supports DAB+.
I have no experience with replacing this kind of equipment, and would not know where to start figuring out what parts are needed and what is required. Does anyone have a tutorial on doing this? What parts are needed? Will I be able to use the buttons on the steering wheel with a new unit?

It also has no functioning bluetooth, but I figure I can connect phones to the new stereo and bypass the in-bluetooth support?

In much need of confirmation on how to best move forward with this otherwise fantastic car! :-)

I need to ask a follow up question though...

Am I right to assume that if I order this kit (https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4724) and this head unit (http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/sph-da120) I will have all the parts needed to get it up and running, including control from the steering wheel?

Also, the kit description refers to a "patch lead cable" made for the make of unit at this link (patch lead) but nothing shows up. Is this cable needed? If so, where can I find one since the linked page is empty?
