New Member with 2011 9-5 Turbo4 (South Florida)
I have always loved this car after only seeing it 3 times, and finally was able to purchase one for myself. I am currently dealing with the tail bulbs & sockets (#13320956K) burning out and have already replaced them once . Is there a proper replacement? As well as the mysterious Check Engine Light which i will have fixed this week due to a corroded part at the cost of $120.00. Other than that I have replaced the front brakes and rotors due to break noise. This is a beautiful vehicle and I look forward to any knowledge and possible meet ups to help me keep this Unicorn healthy. Thanks

Hello and welcome to SaabWorld! Great looking Saab, I still hope to have one of these some day. Is this your first Saab?

Wellcome! The bulb problems appear to be more in US models? You find in facebook 2 great ng9-5 groups I recommend to join also. Names are like The Saab 9-5 NG connection and Int. SAAB 9-5 NG owners club.
There has been at least conversations about the bulbs.

I am a new member as well, although we've had our TUrbo4 for 5 years. I found both the bulbs and sockets online. I also found my biggest problem has been the contacts on the socket not touching the contacts in the taillight housing in hot weather due to non-uniform expansion in the heat. I just bent the contacts on the socket out slightly to cure that problem. I also found poor contact at the bottom of the bulb. I had to add some solder to some of the bulbs.
Hope that helps.
(We have a problem with the driver seat heater, but you are most likely not worried about that in So. FL.)

Looking at the photograph you have a different indicator position from UK versions.
This is the back
The indicators are still incandescent but pretty much all the others are LEDs
