Geoff, parts did not arrive in time to install this weekend. So no update. I did check the pressure at the oil filler and it is positive. Not any significant amount of smoke. My understanding is this should be negative (vacuum drawing blow by back into air intake system). Is that correct? I am now wondering if my problem is that the crankcase is not 'breathing'. I installed the new PCV system. Any thoughts?

Heavy Leak From Front Main Seal 2000 93 SE
I’m not really clued up on how the pcv system works.
Check all the one way valves are fitted the correct way around. But I doubt you could get it wrong.
