Hood won’t open
Hi all...I have a unique (at least to me) problem. I own a 2005 9-5 and I went away on an extended trip and did not close the trunk all the way and it appears to have drained the battery. So I went to pop the hood and the hood release was slack. The cable seems as if it’s still attached. I pulled on it with pliers and it still won’t pop the hood. Any suggestions?

Your in trouble
Try the pliers again with someone sitting on the edge of the hood.
A good Saab shop can get it open as they know where to incert their tool.
You should really get out of Texas.
