Starting problems

Hello! I have a saab 95 vector sport 2006. And lately i've had a problem with the starting of the car. It turns, but it turns slow and the car is very heavy started. Espicially now that its cold outside. It struggles even with jumper cables. I bought a new battery and changed it earlier this week, and i even put an extra ground wire to the engine block in case of the problem being a bad ground connection. But nothing seems to work. Do any of you have any tips og solutions i might try? Might it be a bad starter engine not getting the current it should? Please help

It also draws about 0.4-0.9A when the cars is powered off.

Okey so i fixed my problem.

Fix: Changed the starter engine. It was cranking really slow even with jumer cables. Changed it and now it cranks as it should. (I broke one of the fuel overflow things in the process so it spills diesel now, wont start because of that but i got a new part so im gonna fix that)

But since i didnt find any answer to my questions im gonna provide them here in hope that someone who needs it finds it.

Slow cranking? Huge battery usage? Problem starting cause of that? Well most likley your starter is broken. In my 95 06 iy was located om the back of the enginge toward the steering wheel. It's easy to locate.

So you wanna change it. It was fairly easy, really. Took about 3 hours (first time doing this). Unscrew two of the holding bolts from above the car, and the last holding bolt from beneath. (Those were the easiest locations to screw from) I used a socket wrench 13mm and a 10mm for one of the cables on the starter. It is tight so prepare your mentality. After all the screws are out, and the cables are off, just twist and wiggle it out from underneath the car. Congratz, its out.

Instalation:
Wiggle it back up there, ull se where to put it and how to get it there as you go. Get it place and be aware of a plate holding some pipes and hoses. That plate are going on the outside of the starter, and not between the starter end gearbox. There is a tap on the starter that wont go through the hole in that plate. Took me an hour to figure that out.... but the screw goes through the plate and then through the starter and into the gearbox. And then just attach all the cables again. The main + cable might be heavy to fit on but if you use a screwdrivers and some force it slips on.
