‘02 Saab 9-3 upgrading factory shift knob and boot.
I have a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE Turbo 5 speed and I’d like to upgrade the factory shift knob and boot while retaining the reverse lockout feature. Any suggestions on what type to use or a specific brand would be greatly appreciated. My apologies if this has already been discussed somewhere else on this website. Thank you in advance for any assistance in this matter.

What do you currently have.
Some 9-3's had rubber boots. When the 9-3SS (2003- ) came out, it was a leather boot. I had one. I felt like I was rich! Before then, I envied those who had a Saab with a turbo, alloy wheels, and a leather shifter cover. Finally, I was one of those rich people! The rubber ones look good though. People with automatic transmission really miss out.
