Leaving car for ~6 months
Hi,I got a new job and it requires being abroad for 6 months (+/- 3 weeks). How should I prepare my car for this? In terms of engine/parts?

- wash car, then use cover or park in garage
- overfill the tires to possibly 40 psi.
- fill tank, add gas stabilizer
- use cloth or plastic bag to cover up exhaust
- moth balls in different areas around the engine
- don't use the handbrake, if possible
- trickle charge the battery, if possible. Or have someone charge it every month. Or charge the battery but put the battery charger on a timer, like 30 minutes per day.

the best thing for me was to remove the negative battery terminal. If the battery does not work after six months without use, you can recharge it or buy a new one. So you forget everything.....
