Smile We are planning a Saab car owner event in Beijing,

GM probably sold thousands of Saab cars in Chinese Mainland. The first certified Saab sales center was established in Guangdong Province in 2004, and in December of the same year, there was also one in Beijing, which has been serving us ever since. Our car dealer was established around 2007 and went bankrupt in 2010.
So we are also planning car owner activities. Let's explore our cars together and enjoy the scenery and cuisine of the lakeside park. I went to the gathering place a few days ago for an actual inspection, and the scenery was very beautiful.

Nice to hear about Saabs in China. Hopefully you can find enough Saab owners for a Saab meet. Do you think Saab owners are mostly in the Beijing area or other part sof China as well. I am not familiar witht he country but imagine it may be challenging with such a big country. Good luck!

In addition to special administrative regions, Saab in Chinese Mainland is mainly concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shandong. In the early 1990s, Saab mainly imported 9000 CDs into China, providing them to private sellers and business units.
China General Technology Corporation has a large number of 9000CD/CS as office vehicles. Sweden also presented a 9000 Aero as a national gift to the then head coach of the national table tennis team.

In the late 1990s, Saab participated in the 1996 Beijing Auto Show as a General Motors imported car, showcasing the most advanced 900 SE Turbo and 9000 Aero models at the time. In the early 2000s, it became a General Motors imported car for sale along with Opel, mainly selling 9-3 (9400 and 9440) and 9-5 (9600). In 2004, General Motors officially introduced the Saab brand to China, with its flagship models being 9-3 and 9-5. It has established its own Saab brand direct stores in Guangdong Province, Beijing, Shanghai, and other cities. In 2006, Saab's sales strategy underwent a significant change and became the sole agent brand of Shanghai General Motors.

Taking advantage of the 9-5 facelift, Saab launched a nationwide land flight show. Based on the feedback from my invitation letter, there are currently about 30 Saab forecasters from all over the country, which is only the result of the 3-day registration opening. Therefore, I remain optimistic and conservatively estimate that at least 50-60 Saab will participate in the event.

As Frank mentioned, China has a very large area. Last month, our four Saab friends participated in the GT Show event in Tianjin as visitors, mainly focusing on classic car modification and sports activities. It took us 2 hours, about 150 kilometers, to drive from my home to the venue. These are two very close cities. I once invited friends from Guangdong, and they drove over 2200 kilometers (about 1400 miles). I hope everyone's love for Saab can melt the hardships of traveling,
