The Bring a Trailer website always has very interesing vintage and classic cars for sale and Saabs are occasionally featured. Earlier this week, there were 5 vintage Saabs put up for auction by Paul Perry. Auction results show prices that seem higher than they have been in the past. Perhaps collectors and other vintage car enthusiasts are discovering these unique Swedish cars more these days and are willing to pay a good price for Saabs in great shape.
Paul Perry is the founder of the Swedish Auto Factory in Santa Clara, California. He is also well known as an enthusiast participating in vintage car racing in California and always competing with these vintage Saabs. He recently retired and decided to put his collection up for auction.
Most of his Saabs were always maintained and often tuned and modified for better performance. It is not often a larger collection of vintage Saabs comes up for sale and this was a great opportunity to find new custodians for these fine Swedish automobiles. Below are brief descriptions of each Saab and we encourage readers to visit BaT for more information and many pictures.
